About the game:
The game recreates Operation Market-Garden, where Allied airborne units were deployed behind enemy lines to secure key bridges and hold a corridor for advancing ground forces. The Allied player must act quickly, coordinating airborne and armoured units to maintain momentum and avoid isolation.
The German player, meanwhile, works to delay and disrupt the advance, using mobility and counterattacks to isolate and eliminate Allied units. Success depends on careful timing, positioning, and the ability to respond to rapidly changing battlefield conditions.
Special rules reflect the challenges of the campaign, including airborne drops, shifting weather conditions, river crossings, and movement across difficult terrain. These elements combine to create a dynamic and replayable experience.
With straightforward mechanics and engaging gameplay, WWII Commander: Market-Garden offers a balance of accessibility and tactical depth, making it suitable for both new and experienced players.
