About the game:
This volume places you in command of Allied forces during a decisive phase of the war in Western Europe. From the early hours of D-Day to the airborne assaults in the Netherlands, each mission captures the intensity and uncertainty of small-unit combat.
Take control of British airborne troops as they carry out daring operations behind enemy lines, including the seizure of key bridges and positions ahead of the main invasion force. These elite units, known for their discipline and effectiveness, must hold critical objectives against determined German resistance.
On the beaches and beyond, lead Canadian forces as they push inland from Juno Beach, advancing through heavily defended terrain toward vital infrastructure such as rail lines and airfields. Expect fierce counterattacks from German armoured units as you fight to secure and expand the Allied foothold.
Later missions shift focus to the ambitious airborne operations of Market Garden, where precise coordination and timing are essential. Success depends on careful planning, efficient use of terrain, and the ability to adapt under pressure.
Each scenario offers a distinct tactical challenge, combining the series’ core mechanics with new operational contexts and unit capabilities, resulting in a highly replayable and immersive experience.
