Tank Leader: Eastern Front – Designer Signature Edition
Tank Leader: Eastern Front – Designer Signature Edition is a tactical two-player wargame covering armoured warfare on the Eastern Front during the Second World War.
Formations are activated through command card play, making command, control and communications (C3) the pivotal element of the game. Tactical initiative is determined by how effectively players manage their formation cards — deciding who moves first and how rapidly units respond to evolving battlefield conditions.
This edition is dedicated to the memory of original series designer John Hill and incorporates system refinements introduced in later titles in the series. Developed in collaboration with Leonard Quam and Peter Corless (designers of Western Front Tank Leader and Desert Steel), this Designer Signature Edition represents a comprehensive evolution of the Tank Leader system.
Published as part of Compass Games’ Classic Reborn series, this edition modernises a respected tactical armour system while preserving its historical depth.
