About the game:
Set during a turning point in European history, Napoleon’s Eagles allows players to relive key engagements that shaped the decline of the French Empire. Each turn represents a portion of a day’s fighting, with players using cards to deploy forces, influence combat, and respond to enemy actions.
Units represent infantry and cavalry corps supported by artillery, while commanders and morale play an important role in determining battlefield effectiveness. Choosing when to commit reserves is a critical part of the game, as holding back too long—or acting too early—can shift the balance of the battle.
Terrain also plays a key role, with important locations such as the Great Redoubt at Borodino and the city of Leipzig influencing tactical choices and movement.
In addition to the main battles, the game includes smaller engagements and multi-day campaign scenarios, offering a variety of challenges and strong replay value.
